Type:   Basket
Name:   NB81 B35 P219
Area:   Korakou
Category:   Basket/zembil
Notebook:   81
Context:   35
Page:   219
Date:   1915/06/04
Stratum:   Trench I, L II extension
Notes:   In section L we have found a floor level at 0.35 below ground. Above this level we found numerous fragments of a large pithos. The floor itself is made of whitish clay. At one point is a small pavement of small stones and just east of it the earth is somewhat hardened and blackened by fire. This may be a hearth. We are extending L to S.E. in hopes of finding walls of house to which this floor belongs.

[James-Nakassis: the "small pavement of small stones" is plausibly the "pebble floor" referred to on the base of CP 107. As Rutter 1974: 129-31 notes, we can therefore associate CP 107 with this earlier floor of House L.]
