Notes:   P V 1.02-1.20. Mycenaean level. Looks chiefly LM III but some pieces may be LM II.
In trench P we find another floor level at 1.20 below ground. At south end of trench there may be a hearth. Stratum of ashes here and pavement of pot-fragments in S.E. corner of trench. We are leaving it here. Under pavement are still numerous Mycenaean sherds. Bones, etc. At north end of trench, same floor level. Ashes and bones. Below this numerous sherds.

Chiefly LM III ca. 60 painted sherds about 15 unpainted. Same late style
Minyan 6 sherds 5 gray 1 black polished
Mattmalerei 2 sherds (black on red and brown black on buff) seem to be
Coarse sherds. Quite a number incl. rims and handles. Notice one curious handle like this [sketch] with a leg under it. Coarse red unpainted.
