Corinth Basket: NB976 B32 P77
Collection:   Corinth
Type:   Basket
Name:   NB976 B32 P77
Area:   Panaghia north
Category:   Basket/zembil
Notebook:   976
Context:   32
Page:   77
Date:   2006/05/10
Stratum:   fill N of wall 215; reddish-brown, loose and silty soil with 20-30% inclusions
Notes:   Basket 32 is a continuation of the area dug in Basket 27. Tile and plaster are present. We found glass, painted plaster, a large chunk of limestone (32 x 14 x 8 cm.), and an antefix fragment (SE corner of the trench). In the S part of the trench, we have been trying to determine the relationship between the colluvium and the reddish-brown fill. The colluvium seems to be resting on the red-brown fill towards the E, but then seems to become a deeper patch as we move towards the W. We have arbitrarily stopped this basket in order to remove the colluvium that seems to be on top.
