Stratum:   Pit? Soil is medium whitish brown silty clay with 30% pebbles, 30% cobbles, compactish.
Notes:   B 64 is the continuation of the cobbly layer excavated in B 63. It seems to have narrowed on the east and west sides but continues down in the center of the trench. It appears that it cuts into the clayish layer on the east and now it also seems to cut into the floor-like layer to the west. We have found one coin at coordinate points: 413. 61E/ 968.39 N/ H. 91.16. Second coin found at: 413.83 E/ 967.92 N/ H. 91.08. Bill I stracing the cut that separates this basket from the floor layer to the west. Third coin: 414.67 E/ 967.30 N/ H. 91.22. This basket actually seems to be much less cobbly than the previous one but still part of this cut inot the layers on the east and west. Found bronze and iron lump. Top plan pg. 152.
