Stratum:   Fill. Soil is light pinkish brown sandy clay with 20% pebbles, less than 5% cobbles, loosish.
Notes:   B 72 is the excavation of the eastern area of the trench directly below B 70. It seems that it is made up of a borwnish clay that might extend over B 71 which could be a foundation trench for wall 265. We have come down on more of the cobbly layer which extends west as well as a rounded softer patch with a number of sherds. Thus we will end this basket.
