| Notes: | B 74 is a return to a large clay-like floor layer in the western half of the trench. It is south of wall 215 and juts up against wall 289 to the west. It seems that this clay floor runs up to wall 289 and is not cut through by it. We found a coin at coordinates: 413.50 E/ 966.82 N/ 91.15 H. We also found a round terracotta disc-like item that turns out to be a votive mirror. We have found four separate areas below this layer, including a foundation trench for wall 289. Found bronze, terracotta votive mirror, (iron?) nail. See top plan pg. 162. | |
