Stratum:   Foundation Trench. Soil is medium brownish brown sandy clay with 40% pebbles, 30% cobbles, compact.
Notes:   B 75 is the excavation of the foundation trench for wall 289. It is clearly different in soil texture than the area directly to the east of it. It appears to be relatively deep. Although we do not believe we have found the bottom of the trench, we will stop digging because it is too deep and return to this area when the layer around it is level. We sieved 100%. Found bone and iron. See top plan pg. 165.
