Stratum:   Pebbly fill. Soil is light grayish brown sandy clay with 15% pebbles, less than 5% cobbles, compact.
Notes:   B 81 is the removal of a harder clay-like level of soil south of 215R under B 64 but west of the B 66 patch. We are trying to determine if coming down here will bring us to a similar layer east of the drain trench in which the vessel of B 73 is sitting. At the bottom of the basket are more frequent cobbles not in this basket's fill. The basket ends when the soil resembles that around B 73 (pg. 161). Top plan pg. 169.
