Stratum:   Grey crust with cobbles- Possible leveled building
Notes:   Basket 24 is the removal of a layer in the center of the trench to the S of the column, which consists of weakly cemented sandy silt with large sized cobbles. The soil of B24 seems to be spreading over the reddish soil with carbon flecks and clay clods described in B20, B22. The deposit contains fragments of smashed roof tiles, chunks of mudbrick, fragments of brown coat and carbon. The deposit is possibly the remains of a leveled building. As the pass proceeds to the N towards the column some of the roof tile fargments appear to go underneath an upper layer that surrounds the column (bottom B15).
