Stratum:   skin over cistern bottom, below rubble foundations
Notes:   B64 is the reoval of a thin skin of dark clayey silt with bits of carbon that covers some parts of the floor of the cistern. The deposit was revealed when the lowest course of the stones in rubble foundation was removed. The entire content of the deposit has been saved for water sieving. Though it should be noted that some soil from B63 is likelt included in the bags with the soil from B64.
