Context:   12
Page:   19
Date:   2006/05/03
Stratum:   Fill to the south of Pit 2005-01 and Pit 2006-01. The stratum is light/medium yellowish brown sandy clay with 5% cobbles and 15% pebbles, compact.
Notes:   We sieved 80% and left 20% for water-sieving. B 12 is the removal of the floor that Pit 2005-01 was cut into. After we removed B 12 a few different layers emerged, which we quickly drew at the bottom of pg. 20. The floor is harder, lighter and with fewer cobbles. (The next few sentences are in reference to a sketch on pg. 20) The black is very dark, loose and has quite a few cobbles. The red is harder than the black but looser than the floor and sandy. B 13 has not yet been excavated by us and will be excavated next as a cleaning basket. B 14 will be excavated after that as it is different than the black because the black has more cobbles and is a little more compact. Found bronze. See pg. 20 for top plan.
