Stratum:   Pit fill for Gr. 2006-4. The stratum is dark brownish brown silty clay with 15% pebbles and almost no cobbles, loose.
Notes:   B 52 is the excavation of the very dark loose soil just to the south of the slab. We suspected that it was part of the disturbed fill and what appears to be a Classical black glazed rim fragment has confirmed our suspicion. It should be noted, however, that this patch of disturbed fill is completely different from the patch to the east (B 41 and 42) as this does not look colluvial at all. We stopped excavating when the soil became even darker but was the same consistency and looseness. Found olive pit and bone. See pg. 94 for top plan.
