Stratum:   Pit fill of GR 2006-4. Soil is dark reddish brown, sandy silty clay, 30% pebbles, 5% cobbles, loosish.
Notes:   B 71 is the removal of the soil directly above the lid of the sarcophagus. It is south of wall 215, north of B 68, and east of B 69. There are large cracks in the sarcophagus lid. A large sherd was found on the lid near the edge of wall 215 (in the north). The top elevation of the sarcophagus lid is 90.19. The coordinates of its four corners are:
SW: 402.72 E/966.22 N NW: 402.64 E/ 967.70 N
SE: 403.43 E/966.20 N NE: 403.32 E/ 968.02 N
The crack in the lid is approximately 68 cm from the northern edge fo the sarc. Lid. We sieved 80% and water sieved 20%. See pg. 126 for top plan.
