Stratum:   Soil within sarcophagus. Soil is medium reddish brown silty clay with less than 5% pebbles, no cobbles, compactish.
Notes:   B 76 is the continuation of the removal of the soil in the northern end of the sarcophagus. The workmen believe that the soil is different from that of B 75. It again seems to be more compact. Small fragments of burnt bone have been found in this layer. The soil also appears much more clay-like as well. Two sherds were also found in this layer.
