Stratum:   light brownish brown very soft 10-20% fine-coarse pebbles 2% cobbles to .12m poorly sorted fine sand
Notes:   B47 will follow the cut for the possible water pipe trench. The earth here is relatively soft with a greater concentration of inclusions including small cobbles, towards its N end. 6 pieces of tile were found. Parts of several large stones have appeared at the E edge of this basket at about its midway point; these appear to be roughly aligned with the Westernmost stones fo the tile/stone formation (in the trench's SE corner) and likely mark the E cut for the waterpipe's trench. This cut is also likely marked by a nearly vertical tile at the S edge of the trench. All earth from B47 was sieved.
