Stratum:   medium brownish brown soft clayey silt with 20% sm-med pebbles
Notes:   The intent of this basket is to explore and excavate the new grave cut revealed by B12. It was quickly realized that this burial did not extend very far to the east and that it contained the burial of a small child. The bones are very delicate and excavation is taking several days. It is clear that this burial pre-existed Gr 2006-9 and was cut by the digging of that grave pit. It is unclear what relationship it may have to Gr 2006-7 and Gr 2006-8 but all were at a similar orientation and elevation. A coin was found above the lower body and a few animal bones, possibly dog.
