Stratum:   Ashy fill accumulated in front at hearth. Semi-compacted clayey silt, light-yellowish brown with high contents of ash.
Notes:   With this basket we are taking a thin lens of ashy fill in front of the newly cleaned hearth. It peels off a reddish fill with gravel simlar to the debris elsewhere in the area. The basket was followed by cleaning for photography. Its pottery comes from the sieve, but it was mixed with B54's pottery from theseive by mistake, so both B54 & 55 pieved pottery is together.
