Corinth Basket: NB983 B32 P74
Collection:   Corinth
Type:   Basket
Name:   NB983 B32 P74
Area:   Panaghia north
Category:   Basket/zembil
Notebook:   983
Context:   32
Page:   74
Date:   2006/06/15
Stratum:   Pebbly fill
Notes:   The matrix of this basket is light brown sandy silt, compact to loose, with 15-20% pebbles. B32 is in the area to the N of the clay blob and B31. The relation between B32 and B31 was not clear, it seemed as if both of them were cutting straight down at the point where they meet. B32 is a layer that was uncovered by B's 18, 26, 27, and had the same characteristics in its matrix and therefore was excavated as one. After one pass to the W part of B32 and to the S of the manhole a layer with clay inclusions and harder soil was uncovered and the basket was stopped here.
