Notes:   Removal of the slightly darker stratum mentioned in basket 3. The extent of this basket was limited to the west by the burial revealed in basket 2 as well as to the north by a lot of human bones likely associated with another burial. We removed the bones exposed by the pick but chose to leave the rest of the burial undisturbed. This basket showed that the other stratum mentioned in basket 3 goes under thar removed in this basket. This whole layer will then be removed as a single unit in basket 5. We left a ca. 0.50 m martyr along the northern end of the trench over top of the burial we left undisturbed.
