Description: | The context shape in plan is irregular". The top break of the cut is gradual. The sides of the cut are concave. The break at the base of the cut is gradual. The base of the cut is flat.
Notes: | Irregular, N/S oriented, basin-shaped pit that was significantly cuty by Trench 3 and further truncated by pit 275 to the south. Pit fill is dark, organic and with moderate number of artifact inclusions and contains the bottom 15 cm of a Byzantine table amporae set into the formerly wet floor (so much so that it left an impression approx 5 cm deep). There are two pit levels/contexts. 318 and 320. 320 is the lower and quite thin and fills the original boundary of pit.
