Description: | Top slope of the context is level. The soil color is dark reddish brown. The soil compaction is loose. The soil is poorly sorted. It is silty clay.
Notes: | This is a thin fill layer at the bottom of Pit 217 and consititues a hard-packed white layer that includes the impression of an ampohrae-butt from context 320 above. Badly cut and truncated, so not entirely sure of original dimensions. Irregular stones in wall that protrude indiate not a well-prepared nor formal pit feature but one which was expeditions and not formally prepared.
