Notes: | Alicia Carter This wall is being recorded as part of a plan to apply to have some walls removed in this part of the site in order to reveal the 11th century AD phase of a house for public display. This wall was revealed during excavations in 1091 in NB 230 where it was given 1961 wall #50. The current state of preservation of this wall is fair. While the wall clearly once continued further to the north (as shown on Travlos' plan) it is truncated and no longer extant to the north now. Excavation has not revealed the depth of the foundations. This wall forms a corner at wall 10091, but the state of preservation and depth of excavation prevent a concrete description of the relationship of these two walls. It is also not possible to relate wall 10104 to 10097 as the junction of these two walls has completely collapsed. | |
