Description:   Top slope of the context is slight down to the E. The soil color is light brownish black. The soil compaction is compact. The soil is poorly sorted. It is silty sand.
Notes:   This context is a dumped fill laid against the baulk south of pit 871 (context 1018). We started excavating it in order to understand depositional activities in the southern exterior of the Turkish house. We are hoping to be able to relate this area with the interior of the house.
`The fill was cut by 870 and 809. This fill was not extensive, and we stopped digging when we came upon reddish soil with larger stones in it. The context did not yield much pottery and tile.
