Description:   Top slope of the context is slight down to the W. Bottom slope of the context is slight down to the WThe soil color is dark yellowish brown. The soil compaction is very soft. The soil is moderately sorted. It is sandy silt.
Notes:   103 cut into a lens of very cobbled fill. For this basket we had a visible cut on all sides except to the east. However, since the cobbles stopped so abruptly (almost in a straight line) Alicia decided that the likelihood of the presence of a cut warrented treating this as the next stratigraphic context in the area. We continued to find cobbles, bones, and sherds (along with a tessera), and so our initial assumption -- that this is dumped fill -- proved correct.
