Stratum:   very little ceramics; 10%; medium pebbles, some tiles
Description:   Top slope of the context is slight down to the N. The soil color is dark reddish brown. The soil compaction is soft. The soil is poorly sorted. It is sandy silt.
Notes:   Although not physically contiguous, this context looks similar in conposition and inclusions to 1111 and we might end up considering them equal. There were very few ceramics and none of the lime plaster we had seen in the previous contexts in this area. The area is about .5 meter W of context 1111, wedge shaped. Against the NW corner of wall 945. Its removal brings this part (north) of the excavation area to a close and we are going to move S of wall 918 on Monday.
