Description: | The context shape in plan is circular. The top break of the cut is gradual. The sides of the cut are concave. The break at the base of the cut is gradual. The base of the cut is flat. Truncation: none.
Notes: | This context represents the circular cut into which hearth 910 was built. At present we are unclear on the relationship between the hearth and its cut in the lime pit 882. The lime pit seems like it might extend westward and under the hearth, in which case cut 910 would have cut into the lime pit, destroying the western edge. We hope excavation of the soil into which the hearth cut was inserted, along with pottery readings, will help us better to understand the chronological and stratigraphic relationship here.
