Description:   Top slope of the context is level. The soil color is light yellowish brown. The soil compaction is firm. The soil is poorly sorted. It is silty sand.
Notes:   The silty sand soil is firm, light yellowish brown with patches of red and filled with ceramics, tile, bone, and pebbles. This layer boarders pit 292 to the E, wall 299 to the N, and a N-S wall to the W. The deposit runs up to both walls and the edge of the pit. To the south was dep 296, which seemed very similar to the fill in pit 292.
