Description:   Top slope of the context is slight down to the W. The soil color is light yellowish brown. The soil compaction is soft. The soil is poorly sorted. It is silty clay.
Notes:   343 is a patch of light yellowish brown soild bordered by 347 to the N and a clayish patch to the S. It is rather soft with flecks of carbon throughout. Upon digging it appears to go underneath the fill beneath 345 so we stop temporarily to remove this first and see if 343 runs up to wall 313.
After 343 is removed a patch of hard yellow soil, possibly a floor, is revealed on the E side, a darker soft fill in the middle 1/3, and a red and white mixed fill in the W 1/3.
