Description:   Top slope of the context is slight down to the S. The soil color is light greyish brown. The soil compaction is hard. The soil is moderately sorted. It is silty sand.
Notes:   388 is a very hard layer of erosional debris projecting out from the E edge of excav. The light greyish brown silty sand matrix is full of inclusions: tile, pebbles, ceramics, and bone. Most, if not all, seem oriented horizontally as though washed into place.
When removed we come upon a darker softer layer with fewer inclusions but some sizable rocks (20x15x15cm) that seem to run beneath the fill to the W.
