Stratum:   10% rounded pebbles, ceramics, tile, carbon, bone
Description:   Top slope of the context is level. The soil color is dark yellow. The soil compaction is hard. The soil is poorly sorted. It is sandy silt.
Notes:   418 is a herd dark whitish yellow sandy silt with few inclusions of fully rounded pebbles, ceramics, tile, bone, and carbon projecting c. 3/4 of the total diam from the S edge of a pit cut partly into wall 420.
It sits directly upon a very pure yellow clay that runs beneath the softer fill in parts, which surrounds 418.
Most likely these harder patches in the center are some sort of slumping action, as they are all very level and directly upon eachother (see 416). They filled the pit as an inverse cone and then softer fill was deposited on top.
