Description:   The soil color is light greyish red. The soil compaction is hard. The soil is poorly sorted. It is clayey silt.
Notes:   From the scarp of the large central pit, cut 5169, it appears that the harder grey clay of 5275 overlies the redder level (5301) from the N-S wall throughout the rest of the excavated area. From the edge of the southwestern wall of the large central pit, it revealed a deposit 5275, which we excavated. First, to see if it is part of the a larger layering of floors. It turned out to be an independent clayey patch- this possibly a repair patch to a floor or subfloor.
