Stratum:   30% inclusions: clay; charcoal; angular and tabular cobbles
Description:   Top slope of the context is uneven. The soil color is dark reddish brown. The soil compaction is soft. The soil is poorly sorted. It is clayey silt.
Notes:   We have been excavating this area to eventually get a better picture of the relationship (if any) between the N-S wall and the more roughly built E-W partition wall. Also, we need to figure out whether there are earlier floors associated with the E-W partition wall, if E-W partition wall actually defines two different habitation zones (inside/outside space) and, eventually, what is the relationship between the area we have excavated and excavated area east which was dug in the 1960's.
5313 was another layer of fill, softer than overlying 5280 and with more clay inclusions that were evenly distributed throughout the soil's matrix. 5313 also touches the N-S wall.
At the bottom of 5313, there appeared a flat, hard layer which joins with what was the bottom of pit/structure 5204/5239. In other words, 5313 runs under pit/structure 5204/5239.
Roof tiles: 13n=3.3kg
Boundaries: clear change, the surface of 5317 is harder than the soil of 5313.
