This E-W wall forms the southern edge of Room F. It lies over the southern end of the N-S wall that divides Room E from Room F (W5345).
A N-S wall attached by concrete extends south from this wall. There is no number on that wall yet.
The irregular construction of this wall is influenced by the irregular preservation of the earlier phase on which it is built.
This wall extended farther west at one time, as evidenced by the traces of concrete on the western side of the large ashlar on the west end. The wall also extended much deeper on this end, since the earlier phase was robbed out here (see context 5113 for the robbing trench).
This wall was called W19 by the 1961 excavators and has been referred to by that name in the 2007 and 2008 notes.
Additional notes 2010 (WFD): The Westernmost block of this wall rests on phases 7249 and cement mortar was poured into the remaning stones to strenghten the foundation.
