Oriented E-W
The west end of this wall comes to the edge of Room E and forms a line with W5342. Thus it has been referred to by the same designation as W5342, W16, which was applied in the 1960s. It does not join with W5342 and has a different orientation.
Only one course high survives. It is founded on a long, thin stone that stretches over a cistern/drain to the SE of Room E. The wall itself has been robbed/destroyed before it reaches the cistern/drain.
The concrete is crumbly. Tiles (rare) used for filler as is a large horse or cow humerus.
