Description:   Top slope of the context is uneven. The soil color is light mixed. The soil compaction is soft. The soil is poorly sorted. It is sandy silt.
Notes:   We are excavating this thrid deposit under 5428 as 5475. We are excavating this fill context with the hopes of discovering the hard surface that we found further E.
Once 5475 was removed the hard surface we were searching for was unearthed. The stopping point in the W of this context is a pit (5480). Though the eastern cut of the pit was discovered upon digging 5469, we think this cut may have been disturbed by a large tree root that obscured the cut at first. This disturbance is evident due to the fact that the hard surface cut by pit 5480 to the N, S, and W is not present to the E. The bottom surface of 5475 is at a lower elevation than the surfaces of the cut that were revealed by 5469 and the surface N, which we assume is the same surface.
