Description:   Top slope of the context is level. The soil color is dark reddish brown. The soil compaction is compact. The soil is poorly sorted. It is sandy silt.
Notes:   Deposit context 548 is a shallow lens sitting on top of the red clay floor that abuts the west face of wall 313. It likely belongs to the context above. The removal of this lens revealed the preserved extent of the red clay floor that will be excavated as context 549.
