Description:   Top slope of the context is level. The soil color is light greyish brown. The soil compaction is firm. The soil is poorly sorted. It is sandy silt.
Notes:   This was a small context abuting the W face of wall 5561. It was not taken with 5590 because out workman detected a small change - it was slightly darker. It was the same level, however, as 5590 and cut through by the same pit (5595), and thus should ostensibly equal 5590. Perhaps this darker color is related to Wall 5561 somehow??? Upon removal of this context, the same surface was revealed as was under 5590 to the NW (the 3rd surface, 5594).
