Description:   Top slope of the context is level. Structure materials: conglomerate. Material size: 0.56x 0.38x 0.06. Material finish: squared. Material construction: n/a. Material bonding: n/a. Features: rectangular cutting 0.29x 0.24x 0.06.
Notes:   Structure 574 is a single squared block of fine grained conglomerate with a rectangular cutting in its center along the longitudinal axis. Its function is unknown. It is apparent that the block is resting partially on the preserved surface of wall 540 and partially on a lens of dirt which is in turn resting on the floor associated with wall 540. For this reason the block is being removed. It is unclear what other features the block is associated with and what function it served, though it is clearly in reuse from an earlier phase when it was associated with a threshold as the doorjamb cutting indicates.
