The soil color is dark yellowish brown. The soil compaction is soft. The soil is poorly sorted. It is sandy silt. | | Notes: | | We are taking this level first because the lens appears to go over ( 5811 ) which the ashy pit (5804) cuts. We think that surface ( 5811) and 5804 date earlier and the lens 5805 dates later. It is possible that this was a leveling fill used to repair part of surface (5811 ). The other possibility is that it is accumulated debris after the surface fell out of use (in this case, the layer is later than pits 5804 and ( 5810) because they were cut into the surface while it was still in use.
