| Description: | Top slope of the context is slight down to the N. The soil color is dark yellowish brown. The soil compaction is firm. The soil is well sorted. It is sandy silt. | |
| Notes: | This context is a removal of soil with dense stone and sherd inclusions. A large coin was found to the N (2009-17), and points were taken on it (elevation 85.51). It was found on the surface of the unit, directly beneath pebble floor 5934. This soil was very compact, but with so many stone inclusions that we suspect it was leveling fill for the unit above. The soil under this context is compact to the north, but softer to the south abutting threshold 5919. This may have been a robbing trench for stones from wall 5631. More of the large stone on the east part of 5919 was exposed, and it continues down into the next context. | |
