Description: | Top slope of the context is level. The soil color is light pinkish brown. The soil compaction is loose. The soil is poorly sorted. It is sandy silt.
Notes: | Deposit 509 is the fill of a circular feature cut through the floor that extends northward from wall 576 to the robbing trench 596 and westward from wall 306 into the scarp at 255.5 E. A circular ring of cobbles circa 0.7 meters in diameter marks the boundary of the context. The fill has served cobbles and small boulders. After the removal of the first pass it is apparent that the ring of cobbles is the uppermost course of a structure; the second course from the top is built of slightly larger stones.
