The deposit is adjacent to the south to the well 610. Deposit 612 appears to be bounded to the eat by a single course of cobbles in a manner somewhat reminiscent of a hearth, though no signs of burning are noted. The deposit is sectioned during excavation as it continues westward into the baulk at 255.5 E.
