Stratum:   Inclusions of pottery, pebbles, ash. Soil was redder than 6211, softer than 6168, less inclusions than 6211.
Description:   The soil color is light reddish brown. The soil compaction is firm. The soil is well sorted. It is silty sand.
Notes:   The excavation of 6213 revealed the yellowish white clay floor on its western side. The other area uncovered by 6123 is a reddish soil that seems to go underneath the nicer hard floors to the east and west. The clay floor revealed under 6213 is the one referred to earlier as being seen in the profiles of both 6164 and 6168. It should also be noted that the clay floor/ surface was in use when wall 5483 was built since this surface comes right up to and possibly under wall 5483.
