Notes:   6235 was opened as a cleaning pass covering most of the area east of wall W54 extending north as far as the present scarp at 1032.35, west as far the cut 6235 and south as far as the present scarp at 1028.40. The purpose was to scrape down and sweep this area which had been exposed for weeks and packed down by foot traffic. The cleaning revealed the southern extent of the rt cut 6254, as well as several other soil changes to the east which will be explored later. 6235 was closed and we opened 6254 and its fill 6255.
