Description:   Top slope of the context is level. The soil color is light pinkish brown. The soil compaction is compact. The soil is poorly sorted. It is sandy silt.
Notes:   Deposit context 627 is a lense of fill located west of drain 426 and east of the scarp 255.5 E. The deposit likely runs into the scarp, and thus it was sectioned in excavation.
This lens is defined by its smaller inclusions than surrounding lenses.
Removal of the lens revealed a second layer of fill similar to that revealed by deposit context 626. It also revealed the north western edge of a pit of which the eastern portion was revealed by 626.
