The soil compaction is soft. The soil is well sorted. It is clayey silt. | Notes: | | Context 6331 is the foundation trench fill for cut 6332 at the southern boundary of the courtyard of the Byzantine house. Context 6331 is cut by 6315, making wall 5285 later in date. 6319 is thought, at this point, to be a pier or door jamb. Its alignment with 6337 is slightly NW-SE, which does not agree with the orientation of robbing trench (6350), which is more precisely N-S. The top stone of structure 6319 is a reused Roman paving stone, the wheelrut of which is visible on its wst face. | Context Pottery: | | Fineware. ww plain (700-1120), cup. 1 bodysherd. | Pottery Summary: | | 3 frag(s) 0.01 kg.
