| Notes: | Context 6357 is cleaning of a small circular area in western side of courtyard of Byzantine house. Taking off layer of trodden-upon soil to try to define a cut for a stone fill which may truncate east cut for context 6349 (cut 6350). Cleaning of 6357 defined area of stone fill and that hard soil was effect of trampling and baking in the sun. Soil is dark yellowish brown with approximately 20% inclusions (ceramics, stones). | |
