| Notes: | The excavation of context 6343 revealed this context - a harder layer of fill that had been cut by 6351, a putative 1960s excavation cut. Exploring cut 6351 led us to explore more of the 1960s excavation cuts, located to the south; this area, which has long laid beneath wall 5485 and that wall's pre-existing deposits, has remained untouched. The cookpot (6393) was revealed to rest on top of the level exposed following excavation of this context (6397). | |
