Stratum:   15% tile fragments, pot sherds, bone, some charcoal, chunks of clay
Description:   Top slope of the context is level. The soil color is light greenish grey. The soil compaction is firm. The soil is poorly sorted. It is clayey silt.
Notes:   6400 was opened after 6394 had been dug for 0.34m, although there is no change in the soil or inclusions. Pottery sherds continue to come from the well, and the soil remains ashy.
6400 was closed at 79.06 to maintain contexts of 0.20 to 0.30 passes due to the depth of the well. 6405 was opened below.
The pottery from 6400 preserves large fragments, complete profiles, and nearly complete vessels. The pottery also appears to be of the same date as that from earlier contexts from the well, suggesting a series of dumpings into the well over a relatively short period of time.
