Description:   The soil color is light pinkish brown. The soil compaction is loose. The soil is poorly sorted. It is sandy silt.
Notes:   We excavated this context as a distince levelling fill event that appears to have gone with the construction of the tile lining for the built storage pit 6457. It seems to fill a cut into the same surface that 6457 cuts [now known as context 6498]. Excavation of this fill revealed a post hole that appears to be cut into the underlying harder, reddish surface.
